A Speech Language Pathology Assistant opportunity is available to support elementary students ranging from PreK through 5th grade in the Baltimore area, MD. This role involves providing direct speech-language support across two schools: Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week). The position is contract-based for the current school year session with the potential to extend into the summer ESY program.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to elementary students, tailoring interventions to individual goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and speech-language pathologists to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings to support student needs and ensure continuity of care.
- Comply with all applicable school district policies and licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience supporting children from PreK to 5th grade preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to work on-site across two elementary school locations.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
