A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a K-12 educational setting in Pasadena, MD on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering individualized speech and language therapy services to students.
- Implement treatment plans and strategies under supervision, ensuring adherence to established goals.
- Monitor student progress and document therapy sessions accurately.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support students’ communication development.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creation of supportive educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA training program or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Ability to follow therapy plans and adapt to individual student needs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of K-12 educational environments and student needs.

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
