Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Auburn, WA

Contract: Current school year with opportunity for renewal based on performance
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet all local and state requirements to practice as an SLPA in Washington, including:

Valid Washington State SLPA License issued by the Washington State Department of Health
-
Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program or equivalent coursework as approved by the state

Must work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Current Washington State background check clearance
-
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising SLP in implementing treatment plans and speech/language goals for students
-
Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings
-
Document student progress and maintain accurate session notes
-
Support the preparation of therapy materials and activities
-
Assist in screenings and assessments under SLP supervision
-
Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and the SLP to coordinate services
-
Participate in team meetings and contribute to student care plans
