Overview:
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support speech and language services at Muckleshoot Tribal School in Auburn, WA. This school-based position offers flexible scheduling (between 20 and 35 hours per week) and focuses on serving early childhood students in a culturally inclusive and community-centered educational setting. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and will contribute to the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a caseload of up to 25 students.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP, as outlined in students' IEPs or intervention plans.

Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.

Conduct routine documentation, including progress reports, data collection, and daily session logs.

Support assessment procedures and contribute to evaluation processes as directed by the SLP.

Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and family communication as needed.

Adapt therapy materials and activities to meet the developmental and cultural needs of early learners.

Maintain compliance with school district policies, state licensure laws, and ASHA guidelines for SLPA practice.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure continuity of care.
Caseload Details:

Up to 25 students, primarily within Early Childhood Education (PreK–Kindergarten)

Students present with mild to moderate speech and language needs
-
Services include a combination of individual and small group sessions

All services provided onsite at Muckleshoot Tribal School
Required Qualifications:
-
Valid Washington State SLPA license in good standing
-
Current Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification with a speech-language endorsement
-
Knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic strategies appropriate for young children

Ability to work collaboratively with licensed SLP and interdisciplinary teams

Strong organizational, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, but not required
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $20.00 – $35.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
