School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - Albertville, Minnesota
A part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support early childhood and pre-school students within a K-12 school setting in Albertville, MN. This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week, organized into four-hour days, and is available for immediate start.
Responsibilities include collaborating with virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement individualized speech therapy plans for young learners. The role requires managing a case load of early childhood and pre-school students, supporting communication development under the supervision of licensed SLPs, and documenting progress accurately.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Experience working as an SLPA in school settings, especially with early childhood/pre-school populations
- Familiarity with supporting speech and language interventions for young children
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with virtual SLPs
- Valid SLPA certification or relevant credentialing as required by state regulations
Location: Albertville, Minnesota
