SLPA Needed - Dallas, TX
An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a K–12 school setting. This contract position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting students’ communication needs while working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license (state-specific)
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
-
Experience working with K–12 students preferred
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to follow and assist with implementation of therapy plans and IEP goals
-
Knowledge of common speech and language disorders
-
Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
Responsibilities:

Assist the supervising SLP with implementing speech and language therapy services
-
Provide direct therapy to students as outlined in treatment plans and IEPs
-
Support data collection and documentation of student progress
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs
-
Help prepare materials and activities for therapy sessions
-
Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate under supervision

Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and state regulations
