Responsibilities include providing quality speech and language therapy services to K-8 students, collaborating with teachers and support staff to support individualized education plans, and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with educational standards and policies. The role requires use of the IVP fingerprint card and adherence to state regulations.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid AZ SLP licensure and AZ educational certification
- Experience providing speech-language therapy to K-8 school students
- Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
- Ability to deliver effective therapy and support to a diverse student caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team
- Completion of IVP fingerprint background check
