A full-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K-8 school setting located in Yuma, AZ. This contract role spans the complete school year, from August 4, 2025, to May 27, 2026, supporting an active caseload within the K-8 student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on speech and language goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student communication needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Valid Arizona SLP licensure and Arizona Education Certification mandatory
- IVP Fingerprint Card clearance required
- Experience working in school settings with K-8 students strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Onsite work at a K-8 school in Yuma, Arizona
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
