Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and modify Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring of student performance
- Adapt therapy approaches to support a range of communication disorders within a school environment
Qualifications:
- Current, active California Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered for some placements
- Previous school-based experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
