SLP Requirements to Work in California Schools
To work as a school-based SLP in Yreka or anywhere in California, you must:

Hold a valid California SLP license (issued by SLPAHADB)

Meet CTC credentialing requirements for public school employment

Have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Possess a valid CPR certification

Pass a background check and TB screening, per school district standards
