Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP within Michigan
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Comfortable managing varied student caseloads and collaborating with educators and families
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, voice, fluency, and language needs for K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on functional, achievable goals
- Provide evidence-based therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Consult with teachers, families, and related specialists to optimize student progress
