A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the York, PA area, serving K-12 students within multiple school locations across Adams and York Counties. This role requires providing specialized speech and language therapy while traveling between buildings to support students in Early Intervention programs and school settings.
Location: York, PA (Adams and York Counties)
Duration: Contract through June 2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week, with travel compensated within the hourly rate
Settings: K-12 schools and Early Intervention preschool programs
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for speech and language disorders within Early Intervention and school environments
- Travel between multiple school buildings to provide services effectively
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania certification for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC preferred)
- Experience working with Early Intervention preschool populations highly preferred
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
- SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are not supported for this role
- Familiarity with local school district protocols and standards
Additional Information:
- Travel between locations is included in the work hours, with no separate VOCO usage allowed
- Home base office provided for scheduling and preparation
