Speech-Language Pathologist in Worcester, MA
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting in Worcester, MA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with students, supporting their communication skills through assessments, therapy services, and collaboration with educational staff and families. Candidates must hold active SLP licensure in Massachusetts and have school-based experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing an elementary caseload focused on speech and language services
- Conducting assessments and writing detailed reports
- Delivering individualized therapy sessions to students
- Developing IEP goals and participating in IEP meetings
- Consulting and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Providing clear communication regarding student progress and needs
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status accepted; CCC preferred
- School-based experience is essential
- Must be willing to work onsite due to caseload demands
- CORI background check and fingerprinting required
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs); only licensed SLPs encouraged to apply
This position offers flexibility with either a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) or part-time (minimum 20 hours per week). One opening is available, with a start date as soon as possible and contract end date of June 30, 2026. The interview process will be conducted via Zoom.
