This opportunity is for a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position located in Worcester, MA, serving an elementary school environment. The role involves working directly with an elementary caseload, providing comprehensive speech-language assessments, writing reports, delivering therapeutic services, conducting consultations, and actively participating in IEP development and goal setting. Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents and teachers are essential.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP licensure in Massachusetts is mandatory
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) will also be considered
- Proven school-based SLP experience with elementary-aged students
- Competency in conducting speech and language assessments, progress reporting, and IEP writing
- Excellent parent and teacher communication abilities
- Compliance with CORI and fingerprint background checks
- Availability to work onsite only due to caseload demands
- Candidates with SLP Assistant (SLPA) certification will not be considered
Position Details:
- Contract through June 30, 2026
- Start date as soon as possible
- Full-time schedule (40 hours per week), with part-time candidates also encouraged to apply (minimum 20 hours per week)
