Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Woodhaven, Michigan area. Contract: Current academic year, with renewal opportunities based on performance
Applicant Requirements:
All applicants must meet state and local requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
-
Active Michigan SLP License issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred (CFY candidates may be considered)
-
Michigan Department of Education (MDE) approval or credential (as required for school-based roles)
-
Completion of clinical practicum in a school or pediatric setting
-
Ability to pass background check and fingerprint clearance per district policies
Typical Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
-
Provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
-
Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
-
Support generalization of communication skills across school environments
