Travel School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Woodbridge, New Jersey
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Woodbridge, NJ for a 12-week assignment starting in September 2026. This role is ideal for licensed SLP professionals interested in providing critical speech therapy services to elementary and preschool populations in a school environment with a high prevalence of autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students in grades K-5, including those with autism spectrum disorders
- Deliver individualized treatment plans to address communication and language needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records of treatment and student progress
- Participate in team meetings related to student development and therapy goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license and NJ SLS certification are required
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates accepted if under outside supervision; Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with children with autism and preschool populations is highly advantageous
- Onsite presence required; no remote work option available
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this position
Location and Work Setting:
- Travel assignment based in Woodbridge Township School District, specifically Sewaren and Iselin, NJ
- Positions available at two elementary schools with a focus on autism and preschool services, plus one additional school placement to be determined
