Speech Pathology - Woodbridge, NJ
A contract opportunity is available for full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to cover maternity leave starting in Fall 2026. These positions are based in Woodbridge, New Jersey, at schools serving diverse student populations, including those with high autism and preschool needs.
Key Details:
- Position Type: Full-time contract (12 weeks beginning September 2026)
- Hours: 35+ hours per week, onsite only
- Locations include elementary schools with significant autism and preschool populations (grades K-5)
- Three openings available, including two confirmed elementary school roles and one additional school placement to be determined
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey SLP licensure is required
- Valid New Jersey School SLS Certification
- Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are prioritized
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply but must have outside supervision, as the district cannot provide supervision
- Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this opportunity
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students from preschool through fifth grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student communication goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
