This contract opportunity is for three full-time speech-language pathologists (SLPs) to serve in school settings in the Woodbridge, NJ area, starting in September 2026 for a 12-week assignment. Positions involve 35+ hours per week supporting K-5 students with speech and language needs, including those with high Autism and preschool populations.

Key responsibilities include providing direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and preschool students, collaborating with educators and support staff, and implementing individualized treatment plans. Candidates will work onsite and engage with diverse student populations requiring specialized communication support.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Valid New Jersey SLP license and NJ SLS certification are required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates with Clinical Fellow status may apply if they have outside supervision arranged (district cannot provide supervision)
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with Autism and early childhood populations, is highly desirable
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff

The three positions include:

  • Two elementary school roles with significant Autism and preschool populations (Grades K-5), located at Sewaren, NJ and Iselin, NJ
  • One school position with details to be finalized
