We are currently searching for an SLP to be full time for this district in the Winthrop Harbor, Illinois area. The caseload is with K-8th grade, and it will be for the entire school year. The best applicants will be flexible, have good clinical skills, be strong at evaluations, and excel in collaboration. IL SLP license and an active PEL are required.
Speech Language Pathologist Job Skills:
- Examine and plan services
- Provide services for students with speech disorders
- Communicate with parents and staff
- Instruct speech handicapped students in the development of desirable speech habits
- Develop IEPs and maintain records
- Attend meetings
- Evaluate and provide individual student progress
