Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to promote communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports following district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on speech and language concerns
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related field
- CCC-SLP certification from ASHA
- Valid Florida State license
- Experience working with children in school environments preferred
- Ability to serve 6th–8th grade students effectively
