Speech Therapist in Apopka, FL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is open to serve K-12 students across multiple private schools in the Oviedo and Sanford areas near Orlando, FL. This itinerant role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services to students attending several private educational institutions, with a focus on delivering expert support throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Travel between assigned private schools to deliver consistent and effective therapy services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field.
- Valid Florida State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and work independently across multiple locations.
- Note: This position does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) at this time.

- On-site work across private schools including Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic School, The Master’s Academy, The Ecclesial School at Saint Alban’s, Altamonte Christian School, Orangewood Christian, and International Community School in the Oviedo and Sanford areas of Florida.
