Certified Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Winston-Salem, North Carolina
A contract opportunity is available for a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting in Winston-Salem, NC. This position covers maternity leave and will continue through the end of the current school year, offering a meaningful role in supporting students’ communication development during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Valid state license to practice as an SLP
- Experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain detailed records efficiently
