Travel Speech Pathology - Windsor, CT
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available to support K-5th grade students in a school setting. This role requires a valid CT SLPA license and offers the unique benefit of travel, based in Windsor, CT. The position involves working directly with children to support their speech and language development, providing essential therapeutic interventions to enhance communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-5th grade students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ specific communication needs
- Document and track student progress accurately and communicate with educators and families as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to support student success in academic and social environments
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable, in addition to onsite therapy
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and therapeutic strategies
- Ability to engage young learners and provide compassionate, effective care
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus
