Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - South Paris, ME
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in South Paris, ME. This contract position spans the current school year and offers an opportunity to provide vital speech and language support in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy approaches accordingly
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation consistent with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Maine SLP License is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatrics and in school settings highly desired
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment procedures, and intervention strategies in educational contexts
