School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Winchester, VA
School Year: 2026–2027

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Monitor, document, and communicate student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Provide services addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and other speech-language needs as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CF candidates may be considered
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Passion for working with children and helping students reach their full potential

  • Compensation for this position ranges from $33.00 to $55.00 per hour
