Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Winchester, VA. This is a full-time, school-based contract position with a K-12 caseload and potential for renewal based on performance.

Qualifications:

Must meet all local and state requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Virginia

Active Virginia SLP license and appropriate certifications
-
Strong background in working with special education students and families preferred

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
-
Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings across K-12 grade levels
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and prepare progress reports
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development activities
-
Provide training and resources to staff and families on communication strategies

Weekly direct deposit, pay starting at $40-$48 per hour
