Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure/certification (CCC-SLP required)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, interpreting results, and writing professional reports
- Strong communication skills for participation in meetings with parents, staff, and support teams
- Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy services
- Collaborative, flexible, and solutions-oriented approach
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards
- Ready for full-time, onsite work with consistency through June 2027
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 40-45 students (caseload split with a fellow SLP)
- Perform comprehensive student evaluations and craft effective, goal-oriented reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and parent conferences as needed
- Lead engaging 1:1 and group therapy sessions that foster speech and language development
- Utilize current best practices, technologies, and materials in delivering services
- Document student progress and maintain detailed, timely records
