Deliver specialized speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school environment located in Wilmington, DE, for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite opportunity is ideal for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) eager to support students across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings. Candidates must hold a valid Delaware SLP license, and clinical fellows are welcome to apply. This position is not virtual and does not accommodate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation services tailored to student needs.
- Manage caseloads across various school levels, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school.
- Support district-wide speech and language evaluation initiatives, particularly at the high school level.
- Participate in professional development and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware SLP license (required for application).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility preferred.
- Experience working within educational settings, with skills in evaluations and intervention.
- Strong ability to manage increasing caseloads and support special programs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Wilmington, DE.
- Start Date: August 26, 2026 (with possible earlier start for professional development).
- End Date: June 10, 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute paid lunch.
- Hours vary by school level, ranging from approximately 7:15 am to 4:00 pm.
