Speech Therapist in Bear, DE
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time, school-based position supporting elementary students in a Delaware public school. Location: Wilmington, DE
Setting: Elementary School (Onsite Only)
Duration: Immediate start through June 12, 2026 | Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy goals and outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support efforts
- Deliver services in compliance with Delaware state regulations and school district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and active Delaware SLP license required
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred, particularly working with traditional and autism caseloads
