Delaware Schools Seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Blazer Jobs is partnering with school districts across Delaware to hire licensed and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2025–2026 school year. Position Overview
SLPs in Delaware schools assess and treat students with communication disorders that affect academic performance and social interaction. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Current vacancies are available in districts including Wilmington, Dover, Newark, Middletown, and New Castle.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations in line with Delaware Department of Education and IDEA guidelines

Provide therapy sessions individually or in groups based on IEP goals

Keep accurate records and document student progress per state requirements

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with educators and families

Modify therapy approaches according to student progress and assessment results
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
-
Valid Delaware SLP license or eligibility to obtain one

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
-
Knowledge of school therapy models and IEP procedures
-
Must pass Delaware background checks and fingerprinting
