School-Based SLP | Scranton, Pennsylvania
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in the Scranton, PA area. This contract position is designed to provide maternity leave coverage, followed by support for itinerant students during the spring semester. The role offers a schedule of 35 hours per week, with consideration given to part-time candidates as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with educational staff to address individualized student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Adapt therapy strategies for itinerant service delivery in the Dunmore, PA area during the spring session.
- Ensure all services comply with state educational and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the relevant professional body.
- Active Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience in school-based SLP settings is required.
- Ability to obtain and complete all necessary Pennsylvania clearances.
- Reliable transportation for onsite work in multiple locations within the county.
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom-based interview as part of the hiring process.
Contract Details:
- Start Date: Mid-October.
- End Date: August 7, 2026.
- Position is onsite; remote or VOCO arrangements are not available.
