A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide support for maternity leave coverage and itinerant student services in a K-12 school setting. This contract position starts mid-October and ends August 7, 2026, with one opening available. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Work onsite with students across multiple locations within Lackawanna County and Dunmore, PA areas
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active PA SLP licensure required
- Previous school-based experience is a must
- Ability to obtain or complete necessary Pennsylvania clearances
- Reliable transportation is essential for travel between service locations
Hours and Schedule:
- Full-time: 35 hours per week
- Part-time applicants will be considered
- Onsite work required; remote options not available
- Interview to be conducted via Zoom
