School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Whiteland, IN
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential maternity leave coverage for two distinct positions within our school district in Whiteland, IN. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SLP, or a strong school-based SLPA or Clinical Fellow (CF) looking to expand their experience.
Position Details:
1. Preschool Caseload Coverage:
- Dates: July 28, 2025 - October 2025
2. Elementary Caseload Coverage:
- Dates: November 2025 - January 2026 (potentially later)
Both positions are full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of services.
- Participate in IEP meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Indiana (or eligible for licensure).
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong school-based SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are highly encouraged to apply.
