This assignment runs from July 2026 to June 2027 (with the early intervention calendar operating year-round) and follows an in-person model. The main office is in Schnecksville, but exact locations vary, offering you the chance to work within the vibrant communities of Carbon and Lehigh Counties.
What you bring:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP License required
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible; strong interest in pediatric settings
- Experience or training in early intervention or school-based SLP services
- Flexibility to serve a caseload that may include students from PreK through grade 12
- Strong ability to adapt to itinerant service models and evolving assignments
- Commitment to in-person work throughout the assignment
Your responsibilities include:
- Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children across assigned sites
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and school teams
- Collect data and track progress to inform goal-setting and compliance requirements
- Adjust caseload and strategies as assignments transition during the school year
- Maintain timely and thorough documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines
