Requirements
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements to be considered, including:

Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license

Any additional endorsements required by the state for school-based practice

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required

At least one year of experience working with special education students preferred
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Responsibilities

Provide bilingual speech and language services for students with IEPs

Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement individualized treatment plans

Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support language development

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Illinois standards

Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
