Assignment Dates: August 28, 2025 – December 20, 2025
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Type: Short-Term Contract with Possibility of Extension
Description:
Westport Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide short-term coverage for the Fall 2025 semester. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs looking to work with a collaborative school team and support an elementary caseload in a well-respected district.
The role is full-time (M–F) with a possibility of extension beyond December.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students.

Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations.

Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers and school staff.

Provide supervision and support to the on-site SLPA.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
-
Active Massachusetts SLP license.
-
ASHA CCCs preferred (will consider strong CF candidates with supervision plan).

Prior experience in school-based settings preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
