A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Westerville, OH, serving a K-12 school environment with a caseload of approximately 50 students. This contract role spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student growth and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to transition planning for students with developmental disabilities aged 14 to 22.
Qualifications:
- Valid State License and Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience working in school settings, especially with K-12 populations.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and therapeutic techniques.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students efficiently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
