The contract runs from January through February, extending about a week into March.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children within an early childhood educational setting
- Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders consistent with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience managing preschool caseloads in school settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood speech and language development and intervention strategies
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
