Speech Pathology - West Springfield, MA
A full-semester Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available in Ludlow, MA, serving a K-12 school environment with a focus on a profound autism program. This contract position begins on February 2, 2026, and runs through June 23, 2026, with the possibility to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY) period based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person speech-language pathology services primarily within the profound autism program
- Support a small caseload of general special education students at a secondary campus
- Conduct AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) evaluations and develop corresponding treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student progress and communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
Qualifications:
- Full licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts (SLP-CCC and school license preferred)
- Extensive experience with AAC evaluations and services
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams within a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
Position Details:
- Location: Primary worksite in Ludlow, MA; client’s main office is in West Springfield, MA
- Hours: Part-time approximately 20 hours per week to start, with potential to increase to full-time
- Duration: February through June 2026; ESY extension possible
- Work setting: In-person only
