School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Amherst, Massachusetts
Located in Ludlow, MA, this part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in a K-12 setting offers an opportunity to work primarily with a profound autism program and some general special education students. The assignment runs from February 2, 2026, through June 23, 2026, with the potential to extend into the Extended School Year (ESY) based on performance during the school year. Initial hours are approximately 20 per week, with the possibility to increase to full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person SLP services primarily to students in the profound autism program.
- Conduct AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) evaluations and deliver related speech-language services.
- Support a small caseload of general special education students at an additional campus location.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold current and active Massachusetts licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Extensive experience with AAC evaluations and AAC service delivery.
- Ability to work in-person on-site at assigned locations.
- Demonstrated capability to manage diverse caseloads in educational settings.
Location:
- Primary sites are in Ludlow, MA, with some responsibilities at a nearby campus.
