Travel Speech and Language Pathologist in West Palm Beach, FL
Professional opportunity for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) to serve in West Palm Beach, FL schools. This full-time, travel assignment offers a chance to support diverse student populations across multiple locations within Palm Beach County Schools. The role requires on-site availability with caseloads and student age groups varying by assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students ranging from Pre-K through high school.
- Implement individualized treatment plans for various disorders including regular speech, ASD, DHH, and individualized education needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and school staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Adhere to time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting requirements specific to Florida schools.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida provisional SLP license from the Department of Health.
- SLP-CF candidates will receive supervision support throughout the contract.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads across different schools within the county.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Completion of fingerprinting and clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse as required.
Assignment Details:
- Location: West Palm Beach, FL (multiple school sites).
- Start Date: ASAP through May 29, 2026.
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day).
- Positions available: 26 SLP/SLP-CF roles.
- Note: SLPA candidates not accepted for this assignment.
