Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License from Florida Department of Health required
- SLP-CCC certification OR Clinical Fellow (CF) status accepted
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Note: NOT accepting Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) at this time
- Ability to work in hybrid schedule (combination of on-site and remote work)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for diverse communication disorders
- Knowledge of school-based speech language pathology practices
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
- Availability for immediate start through May 29, 2026
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services in a hybrid work arrangement
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Support students' communication development both on-site and remotely
- Provide consultation services to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work collaboratively in both on-site and remote settings
- For Clinical Fellows: Complete CF requirements under appropriate supervision
