As a school-based SLP, your daily work will involve evaluating students, creating treatment plans, implementing individualized therapy, and working closely with educators and families. Your skills will help students overcome speech or language challenges that may interfere with learning, socializing, or classroom participation.
To be eligible in Florida, you must have an active state SLP license. A master’s degree in speech-language pathology is required. ASHA certification is highly regarded. Background screening and proof of work authorization in the U.S. are required.
