Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, in-person position with partner school districts in the West Milford, New Jersey area. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all New Jersey state and local requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current New Jersey Speech-Language Specialist Certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
-
Valid New Jersey State License in Speech-Language Pathology (through the Division of Consumer Affairs)
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
-
Ability to pass background checks and school district onboarding procedures
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Typical responsibilities of the in-person SLP role include:

Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
-
Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Providing direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
-
Participating in IEP meetings and progress reviews
-
Documenting sessions and maintaining compliance with state and district policies
-
Supporting classroom instruction through consultation and strategy development
