Speech Language Pathologist - Maternity Leave Coverage
Location: Two locations (please inquire for specific details)
Duration: August 14th - December 20th
Grade Levels: 5th-12th Grade
Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist ready to step into a temporary role and provide essential support to students during a maternity leave period? We are currently seeking a qualified SLP-CCC to join our team for a maternity leave coverage position, serving students in 5th to 12th grade at two locations. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to address communication disorders and delays
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support student progress and achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Schedule and Compensation:
- The position is temporary, covering a maternity leave from August 14th to December 20th
- Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday
- Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications
