Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students in inclusive settings.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and district policies.
- Participate in regular communication with teachers, parents, and administrative staff.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are also encouraged to apply.
- Current and active speech-language pathology license in Connecticut.
- Previous school-based SLP experience is essential.
- Completion of district fingerprinting and background clearance.
- Familiarity with a variety of disability categories within inclusive education settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
