A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Elgin, SC. This contract position extends through the current school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques to meet individual needs
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary planning, and provide consultation as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working in school settings with children across K-12 levels
- Strong understanding of educational standards and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
