Speech Language Pathologist in West Chester, PA

Make a meaningful impact supporting middle and high school students as a contract-based speech-language pathologist in a dynamic, onsite setting. This full-time opportunity offers 35 hours per week and runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027. You’ll hold a critical role within a student-focused environment, working closely with learners and school teams from 7:15AM to 4PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC with previous school-based SLP experience
- Must be able to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
- Comfortable working onsite at a single location; virtual arrangements are not available for this assignment
- Demonstrated understanding of and effectiveness in urban educational settings
- Reliable transportation to ensure daily onsite attendance
- Flexibility to support students at both middle and high school levels
- Ability to perform general SLP duties, developing and implementing therapeutic strategies and supporting IEPS as needed
- Comfortable participating in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseload of middle and high school students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to design and execute interventions
- Manage and document student progress, preparing necessary reports and IEP documentation
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in staff discussions to enhance student outcomes
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
