Speech Therapist in West Chester, PA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to support the Early Intervention program within a school setting in West Chester, PA. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team providing essential speech and language services to elementary school students. The position is available on a contract basis for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across multiple zones including Darby, Collingdale, Sharon Hill, Glenolden, Lansdowne, Ridley Park, and Philadelphia.
- Manage caseload collaboratively alongside two other SLPs within the Early Intervention program.
- Maintain flexibility to serve various areas while primarily staying within one assigned zone.
- Provide therapy sessions, assessments, and progress tracking to support student development.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Ability to commit to full-time hours (8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday) is preferred; however, candidates who can work at least two days per week are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule and diverse geographic service areas.
Location:
- Broomall, PA, servicing schools and districts within Delaware County and parts of Philadelphia.
Working Hours:
- Full-time positions average 35 hours per week.
- Part-time availability with a minimum commitment of two days per week will be considered.
