Middle School High School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Philadelphia, PA
A K-12 school in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services for middle school or middle high school students during the upcoming contract school year. This opportunity is ideal for SLP professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), who specialize in school-based speech therapy.
Location and Schedule:
- Middle School: 3 days per week
- Middle High School: 5 days per week
- Preferred 40 hours per week
- Contract duration: ASAP start through June 12
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy tailored to students' individual needs, including those with mild to severe disabilities
- Serve caseloads focused on speech therapy and life skills development
- Participate in and hold Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student progress
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to enhance student outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school settings, preferably working with middle and high school-aged students
- Ability to implement effective speech-language therapy for a range of disabilities and needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation
